February 22 – February 24, 2022 via Zoom
The TLC Facilitator Training will provide participants the information necessary to facilitate Together Learning and Collaborating, which is a group coaching format of Practice-Based Coaching. TLCs offer opportunities to assess staff needs, time to “observe” video of a teaching practice, provide feedback/reflection by the TLC facilitator and peers, and includes modeling. Participants will have the opportunity to practice strategies that will assist with the implementation of this cyclical, non-evaluative process to help education staff use effective practices that can lead to positive outcomes for children.
Learning Objectives:
• Understand what TLCs are and how they relate to other professional developments
• Become familiar with TCL materials and how to utilize them
• Learn specifics of the TLC Process
• Learn TLC facilitation strategies
