A coordinated approach to disability services is essential for ensuring the full and active participation of children with disabilities and their families in all aspects of Head Start programs. This institute will:
• explore strategies for establishing and maintaining partnership agreements that foster productive, collaborative relationships,
• discuss how multidisciplinary teams can engage in an ongoing decision-making process to select, implement and evaluate individualized practices tailored to a child’s unique learning needs, forming the foundation of an effective coordinated approach.
Participants will delve into key questions, including: Who are the partners? What are their roles? How do they collaborate successfully?
