The Home Visiting Institute is a two-day professional development institute designed for Head Start/Early Head Start home visitors, managers, and coaches to expand their knowledge and skills in home visiting practices that are successful in promoting positive parent and child outcomes.

The Home Visiting Institute will support participants in:

Planning intentional and engaging home visit and socializations activities.
Implementing effective practices that support the parent’s role in the growth and development of their child.
Individualizing professional development and supports for home visitors.
Partnering with families experiencing challenging situations.
Identifying and using strategies to support stress reduction and increase wellness for home visitors.
