The Region VII Head Start Association is comprised of four membership types: 

• State Association members make up the voting body of the Regional Association. 
• Ex-Officio Members are non-voting members designated by the Board of Directors. They may include, but are not limited to, Regional Office Staff, TA Staff, State Collaboration Office Staff, State Association Staff and the immediate past president of the Region VII Head Start Association. Ex-Officio Members have voice but no vote on the Board of Directors. 
• Individual Members are those individuals who support the work and goals of the Association. They may be directly associated with a Head Start program, such as a parent or staff member, or they may be a member of the Head Start community at large. Individual membership dues are determined by the Board of Directors. Individual Members are non-voting members of the Association and do not have voice or representation on the Board of Directors. However, Individual Members are encouraged to attend the Annual Meeting held in conjunction with the Leadership Conference each year to be updated on the activities and the financial status of the Association. 
• Affiliate Members are those organizations, agencies and corporations who support the work and goals of the Association. They include both profit and non-profit corporations. Affiliate membership dues, if any, are determined by the Board of Directors. Affiliate Members are non-voting members of the Association and do not have voice or representation on the Board of Directors.
